Northern Michigan's never-ending
backdrop of nature inspires my paintings.
Using light, shadow, texture, and
tone allows the viewer to see beauty and
feel the tactile nature of the world around
us. Building layers of color, sealing them
with matte, satin, and glossy finishes,
allows the paintings to change color and
reflect light differently as you view it from
different angles and in different lighting.
