I am fortunate to live and work in Harbor Springs, MI.  Having grown up in the natural beauty of our area, I continue to be inspired by the many variations of light and the interactions it suggests as it touches the sky, water and land.  My work captures the ever-changing natural backdrop of beauty with subtle details as a soothing moment in time.  Portraying the vastness of the landscape with layered color washes and dramatic textures of detail in brushstrokes and mixed media, my paintings impart a sense of peace and calm to the viewer as they explore the many nuances in each piece.
